The Story
HANA was born from a missed moment. While traveling in Japan, I just missed the peak of the Sakura bloom, so I decided to design something that brought that same softness and organic beauty into the home year-round.

The Design
Named after the Japanese word for "flower," HANA is a study in curves. We experimented with bending the petals to see how the light would react. The result is a translucent glow that doesn't just illuminate a room, but creates layers of light and shadow that change depending on where you're standing.

Atmosphere
HANA looks especially beautiful when viewed from above, making it perfect for a low coffee table, a bedside stand, or as a wall sconce. It’s designed to be a gentle presence in your space, a reminder of nature’s quietest moments.

I decided to make it myself!

Design

We wanted the design to be unique.
so we thought...

What if we bent the petals instead?

Light and Shadow

Because of HANA’s curved design, one of the unexpected outcomes was the way it played with shadows.
The translucent material didn’t just let light through.

It created layers of light and shadow

Glow from above

HANA looks most beautiful when viewed from above, that’s why we designed it as a wall sconce first.
But we knew not everyone could mount it, so we created a stand too.
